# PickyPetal third-party software notices

PickyPetal includes separate third-party programs and libraries. The PickyPetal
MIT license in `LICENSE` applies to PickyPetal's own code; it does not replace
the licenses of these components. Copyright remains with their respective
owners. You may replace the bundled FFmpeg executables and DLLs in `tools`
with compatible builds, and replace the dynamic Qt DLLs in `_internal/PySide6`
with compatible Qt builds.

The package also includes other Python dependencies with their own licenses.
Where PyInstaller collected a package's distribution metadata, its license is
in `_internal/<package>-<version>.dist-info` or that package's directory.

To inspect the FFmpeg configuration used by the bundled binaries, run
`tools/ffmpeg.exe -version`. Users can replace the two FFmpeg executables in
`tools` together with the seven matching DLLs with their own compatible build.

The build recipe pins x264 to `0480cb05fa188d37ae87e8f4fd8f1aea3711f7ee`
and x265 to `020d7054dbecfd3be8e62efe33ff8a305d41856e`. Users can inspect or replace Qt's
dynamic libraries in `_internal/PySide6` and its plugin subdirectories.

This notice is a component inventory. The publisher must also make exact
corresponding source for copyleft components available to recipients when
distributing this binary package; upstream links alone may not satisfy that
obligation.
