What to include
- The app, page or tool involved, what happened and what you expected.
- Your device and Windows version or browser, and the wording of any error.
- A screenshot with private file names, notes and account details hidden where possible.
Never send passwords, verification codes or Google access tokens. Do not share a full workbook, original document or data backup unless you intentionally agree to do so for a specific support request.
PickyPetal on Windows
The Windows installer handles setup:
- Download and open the installer. No separate conversion tools or account are needed.
- Start PickyPetal automatically when I sign in to Windows is selected during setup. Leave it selected to have PickyPetal ready in the tray after each sign-in. You can turn it off during setup or later in Windows Startup apps.
- Finish setup and launch PickyPetal. Drag a file from Explorer into the flower, or open the tray menu and choose a file. The converted file appears beside the original.
The tray icon is beside the clock, possibly under the ^ hidden-icons button. If you close PickyPetal, you can start it again from the Start menu. The portable ZIP is also available on the download page for manual use; extract its whole folder and run PickyPetal.exe.
The app is unsigned, so Windows may display an unrecognized app warning. The download page lists the release size and SHA-256 checksum so you can verify the file before running it. If you trust the verified download, select More info and then Run anyway in that warning.
If a conversion fails, tell us the source and requested output formats, whether you used the flower wheel or tray menu, and whether the problem repeats with another file. Please do not email sensitive source files unless we ask and you choose to share them.
Scarlett Shelf
The Scarlett Shelf customer PDF guide will be linked here before public sale. During testing, contact us directly for setup or troubleshooting.
Sign-in and permissions
The Google edition creates or opens the private shelf associated with the account you authorise. If Google sends you to the wrong account or reports that the file cannot be opened, try a separate browser profile signed into only the account you intend to use. Google’s data-access verification is not yet complete; an unverified-app warning is not proof of Google approval.
Imports and missing details
A connected Kobo must be available to the computer and selected through the import flow. Missing page totals, covers or cast lists may simply not be included in that book’s files. Online matches can describe a different edition and should be checked.
Backups and restore
Export a data backup before trying a replacement restore. The restore preview and confirmation are there to help prevent overwriting the wrong records. Keep original images separately: a JSON backup does not guarantee that missing pictures can be recovered.
Privacy requests
For questions about your saved information, correction or deletion, email support with “Privacy request” in the subject. Scarlett Shelf users can review app authorisation in Google Account connections. Removing that connection does not automatically delete the workbook, Drive images or exported backups.
